:adorar:
I purchased this car in 2005 with 48k miles on it. It was owned by an elderly man who had purchased it for his daughter as a graduation present from college. She apparently didn't like the car much (who knows why!) and so it sat for a good portion of it's life. Now it's been six years since I bought it, and it only has 9k more miles, so I didn't drive it much. It currently has 57,3xx original miles. It has always been in a garage and most of the time while it has been in the garage, it has been under a car cover as well.
Here are the pictures:

ENGINE:
-Fully sorted engine with a stage 3 SCCH head done by Jarod Legsdin. TT 268/276 cams with Supertech oversized valves, HD springs, titanium retainers and lightweight lifters. Lightened IM shaft, pulleys, etc., port-matched and smoothed (by Jarod Legsdin, SCCH) euro 50mm intake manifold, Eurosport air box, TT custom chip, TT 4-1 header customized with ceramic coating and smoothed collector. Race cat. Makes 150 whp (about 175 crank, and I have dyno sheets to prove it). Just passed smog a week ago (legitimately, and with flying colors http://www.vwvortex.com/Anthony/Smilies/smile.gif )
-Rebuilt head (by Jarod Legsdin, SCCH) has only 1k miles on it. It was installed with ARP head studs and an OEM ABF metal headgasket. 11:1 compression.
-Brand new OEM throttle body without the restrictor in it. New throttle cable as well. Feels crisp and tight http://www.vwvortex.com/Anthony/Smilies/biggrin.gif
-Fully sorted cooling and oiling system. Setrab oil cooler, Mocal thermostatic sandwich plate (180F), Passat dual slim fans, Schrick baffled and finned oil pan, magnetic plug, VW windage tray, low temp fan switch, Redline water wetter.
-TT full stainless exhaust partially ceramic coated for heat retention. 1 resonator and 1 Borla muffler, sounds awesome!
-New OEM injectors
-New Bosch F6DSR (silver) spark plugs
-High conductivity plug wires (red)
-New distributor cap and rotor
-Upgraded battery wires, alternator wires, and ground wires
-New sensors
-New timing belt and tensioner
-Redline full synthetic 20W50 oil
-Almost everything in the engine that is a wear item has been replaced with a new OEM part.
SUSPENSION:
-Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, corner balanced
-Neuspeed 22mm front sway bar
-Neuspeed adjustable 28mm rear sway bar
-Eurosport front and rear strut tower braces
-New control arms in front with R32 bushings
-New (OEM VW) rear trailing arm with new bushings
-Ground control camber plates with 2 degrees of negative camber in front. (no cutting of the strut towers!)
-New rear shock mounts.
-Suspension has less than 3,000 miles on the oldest component (some components have much fewer miles on them)
BRAKES:
-Wilwood 10.1" front brakes (didn't want the larger and heavier 11" brakes for such a light car). These save a ton of weight!
-MK4 aluminum rear calipers (to save weight)
-Wilwood fast-street pads all around
-New rotors all around with GEOMET coating to prevent rust
-New MK3 knuckles to accomodate Wilwood brakes. These were lightened by having the ABS protrusion ground off (no ABS here http://www.vwvortex.com/Anthony/Smilies/wink.gif )
-North Viking brake cooling ducts
-Stainless steel and kevlar brake lines
-22mm aluminum master cylinder
-Motul RBF600 brake fluid
WHEELS/TIRES
-Comes with custom-ordered-from-Japan Rays Engineering Volk RE30 wheels painted (by the factory) in Gunmetal. 15x7" with an offset of +28mm. These wheels weigh 9.2 pounds each.
-Toyo R888 R-compounds size 205/50/15
-BMW black lug bolts and BMW black wheel locks (for that stealth look)
-I have special-edition Rays center caps if desired.
-I have a set of completely refurbished (like new) gold-faced BBS RS001s that can be purchased with the car (or without). They have zero miles on them since being refurbished (but have been mounted to the car a couple times). They have brand new Toyo R1R tires on them and can be swapped for the Volks for an additional $1000 (or sold in addition to the Volks for $2500 more). They look great, but (obviously) aren't as light as the Volks and are harder to clean!

GENERAL:
-Clean Title
-No Accidents
So those are the nitty gritty details. I am sure I am forgetting a lot of stuff as I have poured my heart and soul into this car over the last six years. Only the absolute best components were used in building this car up to where it is now. I did not skimp on anything. I am very sad to see her go, but I must move on (there are too many cars out there for me to only stick with one!)
I am expecting to get in the $13,000 range for this car with all the extras thrown in. The car is located in Orange County, CA. Thanks very much for your time
