Primero las :pics2: de Chip Foose y despues la de los carros, dicen que Chip no es lleno de mierdas y te firma lo que queras, hasta paso por todos los carros por si querias que te firmaran el tablero, un tapadera etc etc..:si: (depaso que hondero)..sfaasfasf

As Skip says, there have been a number of Mega Monsters. The yellow one wasindeed the first, and it was converted from what had originally been DavidRobinson's RM-1 (for Robinson Motorsports, if I remember correctly). Ifirst met David when, as it happened, we were both using the same machineshop to develop our little projects...he the RM-1, I the Voodoo Knob. Analloy shift knob shaped entirely differently from a Voodoo Knob was part ofthe RM-1 package, and David had already bought a 10 X 1.25mm tap. With hispermission, the very first Voodoo Knob prototype was threaded using thattap. At that time he was a Ferrari salesman at the local dealership,developing his Miata project on the side. Unfortunately, neither thedealership nor the RM-1 survived, and he and his project car wound up inthe Marketing department at Monster Motorsports, where the RM-1 waseventually converted into the very first Mega Monster. They used the caras a promotional tool at car events and for magazine articles, and I usedto run into David a lot at Southern California concours events.One of the later Megas was painted Guardsman blue (Cobra fans will rememberthat color) with white stripes and shown at the 1997 Los Angeles Auto Show.A bit later, that car was on display when Monster Motorsports hosted anevent for the San Diego Miata Club - during which Dave Hops was kind enoughto show us the car's potential for eating tires and to fire the infamous"potato gun." The Mega was on its way to a customer in Belgium at thattime, but not before it was displayed once again at the San Diego Auto Show- this time sporting a polished Voodoo Knob and Grip and Team Voodoostickers in the vent windows.Since then, Monster Motorsports has been kind enough to display severalother Megas at San Diego Miata Club events and at our Miata corral at theCoronado Speed Festival. The most recent displays were a normally-aspiratedred Monster at Surf'N'Safari and yet another blue (no stripes this time)Mega at this past weekend's Coronado event. So the long and short of it isthat there have definitely been more Mega Monster Miatas than just one. Idon't know how many there have been in total (I could find out if someoneREALLY wants to know), but there have certainly been more than a few.>According to the chart, it outperformed all of them.Yeah, except for formula racing cars, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds is a pretty toughact to follow.
