Overview

Assists team in conducting end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met. Prepares and executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain test plan and test cases effectively
Contribute to the manual test strategy and provide feedback for improvements
Maintain and update the regression test plan and test cases based on new functionality
Participate in daily scrums as well as features planning discussions
Contribute to the document creation for QA processes and provide feedback for improvements
Record and track defects/bugs to closure
Work with software developers to identify and resolve defects/bugs
Deliver project assignments on time, within budget and with high quality
Qualifications

Requirements:

3 to 5 years of experience in QA manual testing only - test design and execution
User Experience with DB and relational databases.
Ability to run simple SQL scripts (any flavour) - Intermediate Skills
UNIX user and knowledge in UNIX scripts
SQL skills are critical (the ability to run queries, develop queries and analyse output from the queries)
A command of basic Unix skills
Telco experience
3rd year of Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Programming, Mathematics/Analytics or related field or equivalent experience.

Qualifications


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience in technical fields
+3 years of experience in Python scripting with object oriented programming approach or experience on any scripting language such as PHP, Ruby,Perl with desire to learn Python. Developer with an interest on Automation & QA
3+ years of experience in server-side scripting languages ( PHP,KHL). Python knowledge is preferred.
Experience in APIs / Web services
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results.
Good understanding and experience of agile software development methodology (Scrum or Kanban).



Bonus qualifications

Experience integrating test suites into build environments like Bamboo or Jenkins. Familiarity with code coverage tools and concepts.
Ability to understand complex database queries and procedures.
Experience in Android test automation and iOS test automation.
