1970 Colt 11-SS projects

hello all
my name is Matt and i am from Australia
after finding this post http://www.velocidadmaxima.com/forum...d.php?t=131293 whilst googleing for Colt parts i thought i might join your site.

i have 2 1970 Colt 11-SS's, one is a Historic rally car the other is going to restored to original condition.

firstly the rally car
this one is pretty much stock to fit in with the rules for running Historic cars
it has a 6 point cage with harness bar, race seats and harnesses. the 1100cc engine is stock with a slightly better cam and higher compresion.
it already has twin S/U type carbies and more flowing exhaust from the factory, aswell as disc brakes up front. i have given it the factory paint scheme.
but i know you need Pic's

now for the resto project
this car is only missing the plastic grill bits and a drivers side seat to be 100% complete.
i have started the long slow process of stipping it right down before painting it with some POR15 paint. there is a lot of rust holes but nothing to bad at this stage.

Really awesome pics. I'm sure there is still a lot of work to do in the restoration process, but there's is no way to express the great feelings when you work hard repairing your car. Congratulations and keep on going.

from what i have found out in the past few years is that there are only 5-6 of this model left in Australia that are fixable, sadly most have rusted away.

the resto is going to take a long time as some parts for them are imposable to find, things like door rubbers and window rubbers.

i have stacks of dealer adds and little bits of info i have found on the net if you would like me to share

He estado buscando algunas de las ruedas, pero es un perno de 5 estudios de patrón en una rueda de 13 pulgadas, le hace un poco difícil.

Your Eleven looks great

here in guatemala, left a few elevens and those are in bad conditions... only one of those its a proyect here in velocidadmaxima

and all these belong to one guy, there is only one that is sort of OK





and the rest of his collection








and there is a grill i am trying to buy


and then there is the one, it lives down in Tasmainia, i don't know much about it but it does have a set of mag wheels
