Tenia este E46 M3 CSL por 18 meses tirado y decidio convertirlo en su "personalised E46 M3 GTR."

He sold the engine in exchange for this

Every single mount and braket is custom made as he squeezed the mighty V8 into the rather boxy E46 engine bay. He ditched the SMG gearbox and opted for a 5-speed manual from an E39 540i.

Awesome 15" Brembo GT brakes with 8-Pot calipers

Inspired, we quickly learned that Sam has another M5 engine he has bought for spares. And since his V8 is pretty much sorted, he has little use for the other engine

With tools in hand and 2 hours to spare before the footy match, we got to work. More of an exploration of one of BMW Motorsport's finest.

But we realised he drives an E39 540i with a V8 of similar dimensions to the S62 ....... he's thinking of taking on the project
